Like the title says - anyone have experience with them - looking for quiet performance.

Hogue Poly Sling Swivel

Also....
Have a YHM 4 rail and was looking at side mounting a sling swivel using part #YHM-9469
( scroll down the yhm page-> ) YHM Swivel Stud
Anyone thread one of these into there YHM 4 rail - how well does it work??
Looking at mounting a VTAC VTAC Slingand weight is a high concern.

Any opinons on the setup welcome

I have the swivel and the sling shown with it (not the VTAC) on a bolt hunting rifle. It should be plenty quiet. As far a durabilty, I couldn't tell you as it doesn't get carried that far.

Since you're looking for quiet operation, I suppose the one you list 1st will work fine

I do not have a noise issue with the metal ones and almost invariably will go for steel parts over nylon or plastics

With single point set-ups, the Specter will use a back-plate attachment like this one - Daniel Defense although many have these (GG&G, YHM, etc)

The Specter single-point then hooks up like this:

Other slings that are swivel based, would be in my opinion be best anchored with the KAC (shown below)

and

or with

One of these attached to your rail

Or collapsible stock

So, whether single point and the mounting options shown above, or with other sling options- my suggestion is the KAC set ups
