With this FF forearm only being clamped on the barrel nut how secure is it after long term wear and tear?  

I probably should have posted this question before I bought but........IMPULSE BUY!!!

Thanks but mine doesn't sit flush.  I think the barrel nut needs another 1/2 tirn but I'm not taking everything apart to do it.  I just can't have a scope cross over the "line" btwn upper and forearm.

I've used one on a CMMG upper for a while and its nice.  Being modular gives it a lot of advantages over "static" rail systems.  The fact that it sits level with the rail on the upper receiver of the rifle is nice too.
