It's not a well known system but I sold GG&G a while back and of the folks that picked them up everyone enjoyed their modularity and it being flush with the receiver. I think now the biggest setback to it is the weight, it weighs about 5-6 ounces more than similar systems. Relax, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, the customization factor is worth the price!

Thanks but mine doesn't sit flush. I think the barrel nut needs another 1/2 tirn but I'm not taking everything apart to do it. I just can't have a scope cross over the "line" btwn upper and forearm.

We've been using them for quite awhile and put many 1000's of rounds through them without a problem. The handguard rails and receiver should be on the same plane. I like them.

I've used one on a CMMG upper for a while and its nice. Being modular gives it a lot of advantages over "static" rail systems. The fact that it sits level with the rail on the upper receiver of the rifle is nice too.

These are very beefy FF tubes, probably the toughest 2 piece FF rail system being built today. As long as the barrel nut is tight, these aren't going anywhere. I really like the ofset mount feature of these.
