Before I buy a new upper, I would like to hear from anyone who has a Wylde chamber and shoots a lot of 5.56 ammo, such as XM193, MK262, or BH 75/77 grain, etc. that may possibly cause FTE issues.  I know theoretically they're supposed to be good for 5.56 ammo, but I would like to hear it from "the field" so-to-speak.

TIA.

I have two RRA's. One with 20" SS barrel and the other a 24" SS Varmit barrel. No problems at all.

My 20" RRA has never had any issues with any ammo, 5.56 or commercial 223.

I make about 100 or so barrels a year  primarily from Krieger and Shilen raw blanks. The 223 chambers on all of the AR's are cut with a 5.56 Wylde reamer I purchased from JGS. I have had zero complaints or returns based on functioning and accuracy with the Wylde. Charles the Gunsmith.

No complaints from my 20" chrome-moly RRA barrel.

No issues what so ever. I shoot BH75/77 grain match, almost exclusively.  I have shot some XM193, and had no FTE problems. I can’t tell if there is any increased accuracy from a Wylde chamber vs. a standard chamber. Before I re-barreled I was shooting around ½ MOA, and with the Wylde chambered barrel I am around 1/3 to ½ MOA- could just be the barrel.
