Was looking to add a set of quality binoculars to my kit for longer range hunting and for when someone else is looking through my spotting scope. Seeing the prices on some of the 'newer' binoculars that aren't garbage has me wondering if the Zeiss surplus bino's you see on ebay would be a good alternative for a simple bino setup that is clear and sturdy.

Anyone have experience with any of these? Suggestions?
