Armscor is a Philipine company the Remington set up. IIRC, they still have a 40% share in the company. It is decent ammo, but usually not priced well. I won't pay the same for Philipino ammo as I would green box Remington. I have shot the .22 mag. It shot about average.

I'm curious because Kiesler's has it for $8.45/50 for .45 230gr FMJ. Brass case unlike the $7.80/50 Blazer over on Natchez. Since I don't reload I'm not overly concerned about it. I was curious, though, since I'd rather use brass case ammo when the price is essentially the same.

I have used their .30 Carbine ammo, seems pretty good. Armscor has had a good rep in armaments for a while now.

If you are looking for good inexpensive .45, you might want to check out http://www.aimsurplus.com. They have MFS .45 for $95 per 600, and it has a good reputation.

You will not find a better quality .45acp than the MFS. This is the same ammo Fiocchi made. It was subcontracted out to MFS. Best stuff you can buy.

I appreciate the heads up on the MFS ammo, gents. $7.92/50 for brass case .45 ain't too shabby.

I feed the armscor .45acp to my Glock30 often when the price is right. The price Kieslers has is RIGHT! I have never had a problem with it. Shoots great for what it is. Sometime though the cost is higher than expected.

i used some armscor for a class. it was by the case at a gun show. good reliability - it all fired in my Glock 30 and Glock 21, I didn't group it from the bench but it worked. Loaded quite a bit hotter than the federal white box or the Winchester. I actually had to put some in one round at a time and shoot it side by side. I don't own a chrono so I don't know how hot but it was coming out quite a bit faster.
