TIA

Anything interesting on the headstamp?  Curious who made it and how long ago...
Thanks.

Mine showed up Monday. Its Lake City headstamped and year 2002. Looks great and the can was still sealed with the metal US/LC tag.

Shot some this morning. It shoots great in both my Varminter and Bushy 16 inch.

Funny mine has WCC 04 with a circle with a cross through it?

Did the cans themselves have any markings on them?

I've shot a couple of thousand rounds of this so far. LC 01 on mine. Shoots great! Wish I could afford some more. It won't last much longer. Tom

WCC = Western Cartridge Company (No longer in business under that name, now operating under the Winchester name, who still uses the headstamp). The circle w/ cross is the NATO symbol.

Did the ammo cans have any markings on them?  Its a really simple question I cannot get a answer to.  Thanks

Mine had no marking. Bought it last week. It only had the tag with the US/LC on it. Something was blacked out with a marker also on each of the individual boxes of ammo.

Thank you JRandyH.  That's how my two cases came.  I expected the cans to have a accurate description of their contents since they were advertised as grade one ammo.  I don't see how you would figure out what was in the can while in the field.  Otherwise the ammo is great.  It takes so much time to put 3360 rounds on strippers and bandos I didn't mine the price.  Check the ammo, put some desiccant in the can and close it up.  GTG.  I would have been nice if the cans were stenciled with the contents etc though.

Mine showed up the same. No yellow lettering on the can and a black line thru the lot number on the bandos... looks good and shoots just fine though...

Humm.... I would have thought the cans would have had desiccant in them already since they are sealed.
