Remember one thing. If the one you buy requires you to pull the stock, RRA has been using loc-tite on the castle nut. You may have to apply some heat to get it off.

RRA does not use loc-tite, they swage the castle nut. Go ahead and buy an extra castle nut, because you'll have to cut the factory one off....it'll run ya about $5 to $7. I had the same question......check the "AR discussion" for a thread called "CASTLE NUT". Its all there.....and it worked for me.....

I like the KAC sling plate that Wes Grant at MSTN sells. I have a CQB Solutions sling. The company is Spectre now, but they still make the sling.

Whatever you get, stake it.

I got me a Gear Sector ASP-V. Outstanding. If you have a rig, it's the way to go. DD and TD both have clamp on push-button QD mounts if you don't want to attack the extension.

I have never seen an RRA that is staked on. I have seen quite a few that were put on with loc-tite. I wonder when this changed?

fyi, the Elite A4 I purchsed in December of '05 is not staked.
