I can probably figure it out, but if someone has done this before, please help.

Looking on slidefire's website, they don't sell just the grip part. They say it is because they mold the stock and grip adaptor in the same mold, but I am pretty sure they just want everyone to buy an entire second stock for another $360 if they want to use the stock on 2 guns.

Any help would be great.

I didn't miss that thread...I have actually posted in it a few times.

Where abouts does it show how to build a grip adaptor for a slidefire stock?

Added: Yes, I am serious.....

Isn't it just a wedge (with a side piece to fit the grip area) to give a horizontal sliding surface?
Two small pieces of cutting board should do it.

Not really, it has the grip screw at an angle and also has the hole for the take down spring for the safety lever.

I have heard of some people making them from a standard A2 Grip by cutting and shaving some material.

Search on YouTube for "Home Msde Slide Fire Stock" or something similar.  There are several examples of other people's handiwork, you can probably get some ideas from them.  One set of videos in particular showed the home made stock close enough to see that all he did was bolt/epoxy tabs onto a regular A2 grip.  His stock seemed to work very well.

I found an A2 grip from a friend locally. Took some dimensions, threw the rough cut grip piece into my little mill, and 30 minutes later......I had to do some hand fitting...haha.

Now I have a grip adaptor, and it tested it today and it worked just fine.

I just needed to get motivated to dive into it.
