I just got one from the Taknic guy.  It took about 5 days or so to get it.  Price was just a tiny bit higher than ADCO, but shipping was included, and it was in stock.

of course after I buy an upper, I find a complete carbon 9mm bushie, used but as new for $690 out the door...  argh...

I still prefer an aluminum gun, but for that price I think I would have given the carbon a try instead.  Plus it had bolt hold open which my current block would have to be modified.

Although the hold open on the Carbon was plastic?  Seems a bit underspecd.

New they are $950 plus which is nuts considering I can buy a new Colt with 2 Colt mags for $1250 or less...  Just not very easy to find.

Plastic is for airsoft.  I'd stick with the aluminum, I'm sure you'll love it.
