You just missed some at Bravo Company.  I ordered two last week, and received them on Saturday.

Get on the email notifications for BCGs at Bravo Co.  And order quickly when you get the email.

PK had them in stock all last week. I see they are out now.

Other then LaRue (who is no longer selling them due to getting trolled) I don't know any place that has them in stock.

You can order them direct from Young Manufacturing. Their site says even if they don't have any in stock it should only be 2-3 days wait time until they are able to make another batch.

WOW the LaRue thread was fun..

I really hate when people ruin it for others..

wow! I just read that whole thread and I must say I'm kind of disappointed to see that Mark would pull any product because of two people pointing out the fact that his bcg's aren't 'mil-spec.' I don't own any LaRue products (yet), though I would never question the true quality of them! Whether it's mpi, milspec, or anything else for that matter, if it's quality it's quality, end of story. Hopefully he'll change his mind!

I guess we're stuck with RRA, BCM, LMT for quality BCG's. Unfortunately IDK who has BCG's in stock.

I email Larue a couple of days ago and they had the bcg and just the bolts in stock.  I still cant see why people are buying them off of the EE for $50 more than they can get them through the supplier.

After calloing to verify that they did have stock, I bought the RRA bolt at Rifle Gear.
I was tempted by the MA Prts, but without knowing who actually makes them , I felt better knowing I was at least buying a known entity. Well worth the extra couple dollars.

M&A has really stepped up their game.  They sell a lot of RRA, LMT, and CMT parts.  If it wasn't for the Darth Vader incident, I suspect we would all be singing their praises.  I rank them among the highest in terms of a parts house company.  The only thing I have ever gotten from them I didn't like was standard A2 stocks and handguards.  Their steel and aluminum parts are excellent.

My BCG I got from them was a major name brand.

One of our members had to Darth Vader him at a gunshow.  If said member wants to speak up he can.  I won't name him.

One of the M&A guys got into it with a member here.  The M&A guy had a bad day and blew up.  He took it out on the member and slapped a cigar out of a guy's mouth.  The member choked the M&A guy a little bit and then it was broken up.  Everybody went home in one piece with only hurt feelings.

I don't know either one of them so it is irrrelevant to me.  Everyone has bad days and sometimes they get their ass kicked too.

I don't know what is wrong.  Looks just like the one that works, but the last couple inches of travel when pulling the charging handle is not smooth and the BCG sticks.

Yeah, I went to the site 45 minutes after the email and they were already gone.

But I like playing this game. They are hard to score, but at least they aren't $200!

Have you tried it in a different rifle.  That sounds more like a buffer tube that is screwed into a lower at an angle.  That would cause binding.  I'd say it was the tube or the lower.

Think about it, how freely does it go into and out of the upper when the rifle is open and the buffer tube is out of the way and not in the equation?

ETA:  Try swapping around some charging handles too.  A bent charging handle could bind it up.  When the carrier sticks is the charging handle free to push back up against the upper or is it stuck too?

LOL!  I just happened to be at the computer when the email arrived.  I quickly scurried through the house to get my credit card.

Now, if I could only be "Johnny on the spot" again with the other items I need.

I have another BCG that works just fine.  I can switch back and fourth and always get the same results, one works and one doesn't.  Wouldn't a messed up buffer tube be consistent with both BCG's.

I have a 9mm RRA upper I might be able to try it with, no live rounds of course.

PK has RRA and Young BCGs in stock, right now.

They were not in stock this morning when I checked.  Better act fast.

I got a Young NM BCG from PK last week.  They staked it correctly, I am happy to report.

No worries bro, I ordered one anyway.  Couldn't find anyone else to take the order in stock or not so thanks for the heads up.

ETA:  Now after reading further it appears PK has them in stock.  Son of a bit......   Oh well couple weeks wont kill me.

When you swap in the good BCG are you also swapping the charging handles?  If you are then you are not isolating all the variables.  Swap bolts between a couple of carriers and try that too.  Just remember which bolt goes with which barrel.

Sorry for the thread hijack, but I'd really like to figure this out.

I'm not swapping charging handles, and the charging handle moves forward freely, leaving the carrier stuck for a moment until the buffer spring overcomes the friction.  I only have one .233 rifle, and the BCG is the only component I'm swapping out.

RRA says I need to deal with PK, so that's what I'll do.  Hopefully I can exchange it.

You can do like some of the jerks on the EE and buy 5 BCM carriers (when they have them in stock) for $130ea and then when they sell out a few hours later, go ahead and sell them on the EE for $200ea!

Glad I got mine before all this BS started
