Just found that LaRue is making a 13.2" rail......I'm assuming for rifles (and dissipators like I'd like to build with a 16" bbl) that have removed their FSB.

Any other manufacturer's doing this that you guys know of?

Do you mean like this?

To my knowledge no one else makes anything longer then 12"... I could be wrong, but I have not seen it if it does exist.

Yes its a 16" pencil barrel. Its really light

.

I don't have any profile pics with a 16" barrel but here are some older pics with a 20" barrel.

Aside from the LaRue 13.2", I dont know of anyone making rails over 12" either.

PRI will make custom lengths of their carbon fibre tubes.

Olympic makes their FIRSH rail in an extra length. I always wanted a rail system that extends past a rfile FSB, and I'm glad Larue stepped up to make a quality mil. 1913 one. It's about time someone did it.

I thought I read that both Samson and Troy Industries will also make their rails in custom lengths....is that right?

**EDIT** Nevermind....from Samson's website (rail page):

We encourage custom orders - just let us know what you want. You may be able to get a custom job for the same price as the standard, or just a few dollars more.

Haven't found any more info. on Troy though....anyone know if they'll do custom lengths?
