Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anybody have any opinions on Sidearmor mounts????

I have a Surefire on the way and now have to decide on a mount. I have narrowed it down to the Sidearmor collar or barrel mount. I am leaning to the barrel mount. Anyone have one that can give info on the quality of the mounts?

Mounting to the barrel will casue your zero to shift, you will have to re-zero your weapon. if you remove the light, your POA will shift again.  it is best to mount the light to your handguard or even your gas block.
