I prefer Larue mounts, but the GGG mount allows you to use Butler Creek lens covers.

Yes, I have one. Very happy. No longer on this rifle though. Need to update pics. Now on a LMT/MRP

I am ready to buy a T-1 and was also thinking of this mount.

I don't like the idea of not having lens covers and this mount solves that problem very well.

Thanks!!!!!!!! I prefer Larue on any type of mount, but this mount solves the problem of lens covers, and I hate to say this but IMHO it looks better than the Larue mount.

BTW, did you machine out your own receiver? If so, NICE job. I've got one I'm sending in to be anodized.

Why can't you use those lens covers with the LaRue mount?

There is nowhere to attach them to the T-1. The covers attach to the GGG mount.
