Serious question.  Don't want to dick them up too bad getting them off.

I have a $400 dollar visible laser I never, ever use, because it's a visible laser.  Gonna stuff an IR laser in there, I says.

It is apparent in taking it apart that the adjusters should be one of the last steps in reassembly.  The 'screw' on top of the adjuster seems to be part of the knob.

Just looking for some knowledge before I start breaking stuff.

There is no need to remove then. Simply adjust them all the way up and out of the way. The tensioning device on the bottom is what is the problem. Is the new IR laser the same diamter as the brass barrel of the old visible laser?
