Hi Guys,  I have a Rocky Mountain Arms Patriot AR pistol with a 7" barrel it has been giving me all kinds of problems(FTF, short cycle & etc.).  A friend told me to replace the stock short buffer tube with a standard carbine buffer tube & use the carbine buffer setup the problems should go away,  The problem is the stock buffer tube is pinned with a piece of metal in the threading.  Do I drill it out or what?  Thank in advance!
