Taking apart how, the latch,removal from the tube?


To take the latch apart support the stock assembly pull the entire latch away from the stock and slide off the tube..

Then use a small roll pin punch and punch through the small roll pin located on the stock latch pin.  
Holding the pin on the inside of the stock with a finger lossen the circular nut on the the outside of the latch assembly, carefull it's under pressure.
When you have that nut off ,the stock pin will come out through the top of the stock where the hole is.
The spring and circular nut  will fall  off in your hand.


When the stock is off the tube the battery compartments turn in  toward the hole and pull out, they have a double o ring seal and are tight.
You will have to hold the battery tube firmly with one hand while you turn off the top with the other...

Actually, I just want to figure out how to get to the storage compartment.

Does it have to be taken apart....

The stock body has to come off the receiver extension to remove the tubes from the stock.
