I'm lost, are you wanting railed hand guards or some other product cuz I'm not familiar with all of them.  True story; tried to get the railed Troys (mid-length), called Troy with no answer/reply, nobody had them in stock either.  Found out that the Samsons which are the same thing, possibly the originators of the product, are suppose to be better and were available from a company in Miami.  They were on my doorstep the next day and on my rifle in a few minutes.  Hope this helps.

Edit: Spelling correction

They look the same!!! If you have seen an AR15 with the Troy, you now know what the Samson looks like. Samson built the original rail systems for Troy until they had a falling out of some sort. I won't go into details about that and start beating that dead horse again. I have talked with Scott Samson about his products and his company (today actually) and he seems like a great guy.

That would be the Surefire M73 handguard series application for patent.
Paul Kim is the VP-Engineering for Surefire
He also holds a lot of patents, and designed a lot of SF series of personal and tactical flashlights.

This is NOT accurate. Samson made rails for TROY, but they did NOT come up with the design. Before Steve Troy came along, Samson had done NOTHING with the manufacturing of AR rail systems!

What is not accurate about what I said Grant? I said the same thing you just said didn't I? Please read my post again. I never said anything about who designed the rail. I said Samson made the rails FOR Troy and that was it. I also said I wasn't going to beat a dead horse hence the reason I didn't include any other information that me and Scott Samson talked about.
