I just ordered one. Should be about 6 weeks. It's the 16" one with M4 handguards as I can't stomach the Predator. I already have a L-W piston upper so it should complement it nicely.

So, if you have one what are your thoughts on it?

P.S.---anyone interested in a like-new Colt unbanned MT6400C (receiver marked "M4 Carbine") with BUIS and Knight's RAS and VFG? Gotta pay for this thing somehow!

Anyone on the evening crew have one?

I am going to get one someday soon, I hope. It looks like a kickass rifle. What don't you like about the Predator? I was thinking about getting one with it installed. Do you know what the HK 416 model uses for a handguard?

The Predator reminds me of the ARMS SIR system, which I don't care for either. Too bulky, and a rail on a rail is redundant. Just a matter of taste, I guess. Also, I'm sure the Predator makes it even heavier than the gas piston system already does.

If you've got a LW gas piston upper, just order a Grenadier Precision ARM-R rail for it. I ordered mine the other day and hopefully I'll have it Monday or Tuesday. I bought it in anticipation of a gas piston conversion in the near future.

Where did you get your LW upper from? I checked their website and they only have the .499 upper on there. Could I order the LW upper with a ARM-R rail already on it? That looks closer to the HK model than the Predator. I also thought the Predator looks really bulky. Could I order the POF upper and put a ARM-R on it?

Thanks

Nic

The ARM-R will not fit on the POF due to the proprietary barrel nut. ARM-R was designed to be installed on a standard barrel nut.

Go to the LW forum for info on ordering.

ABNAK you will be one of the first to have both! Cool.

Thanks for the heads-up.
