Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any better/cheaper upper + barrell assemblies than this?

I just bought a complete Stag lower, and I'm looking to put together an A2 style upper with 16" barrell.  I came across this setup from Del-Ton.

It looks like a good deal to me, @ $343 for the complete upper with barrell.  Are there any better deals out there right now for an A2 style upper and 16" mid-length setup.

Del-Ton is one of the higher quality builders for the price.  Their customer service is great too.

By the way, the upper you linked to is a carbine gas system and not a mid-length.  Also you may want a threaded barrel if MO allows them.  A well selected muzzle device can be important.

The D-T kit's seem to require paying more if you want a chrome lining.
