A number of years ago, I contacted a "new" company called Lasermax regarding one of their units for a HK USP Compact 9mm.  At that time, they explained that while they didn't manufacture one of that model, they were working on one for a USP Compact .40.  Each model must be specially engineered for the specific firearms, so I realize development and testing can take a bit of time.  But really, all this time?

Has anyone learned of any HK models from Lasermax or even "in development" or "coming soon" splashes?  Anyone even heard they actually were moving forward with engineering?  Anyone hear they were all killed in an unfortunate plane crash and no longer answer e-mail?
