Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any Experience with CDNN A3 Removable handle?

Building up a 16" flat-top (M4-ish) for my son.  Want him to learn iron sights first.

The majors are asking $80 + for the A3 w sights.  I see it in the latest CDNN catalog for $50.  

Any thoughts?
