Just wondering if there are any books with good mentions of SPR's out there.

Mk12 Mod 0
Mk12 Mod 1
SAM

I know that The Black Rifle 2 has some stuff.

Any other magazines, or books with articles/mention?

The only place I have seen anything was Shotgun news about a year ago (wish I would have kept it) and the last Guns and Ammo AR mag. most are about putting one together and not the history.

How your build goin?

Should have my 22H mounts today. Pics will hopefully be up on Monday

I bought the Black Rifle 2, another Book of the AR Guns & Ammo, and the complete ar-15buyers guide vol 2 for installation of the Jewell trigger.

Might have to check those Shotgun News in my closet. Wish I knew which Shotgun News had it in there.

My build is going alright I guess. Kind of ass-backwards. Bought the Leupold, 20rd Colt mags, Ops Inc brake, and collar.

Any clue which issue?

How's the weather in Minnesota? I miss home.....

i tried to find the issue, but i must have put it storage when i moved last year.  it was before most people here on ARFcom even knew what an SPR was.  i want to say it was a solid 3 years ago.  next time i visit my parents i'll see if i can dig it out.

the weather has been great this summer mostly mid to upper 80s (unless your a farmer, then the lack of rain sucked).  last winter was pretty mild also - never hit -50F, hit -30F to -40F only a few times.  had a pretty good stint in the -0F to -20F range and a real long stretch in the +15F to +25 range.  this is in the northern part of the state.  my wife's family is from southern MN, and their winter temps were 10-20 degress warmer and the summer 5-10 on average.

Yep. I'm from the cities. But I spend alot of time in Grand Marais at families fishing.

I could go for some freshly caught Walleye right now, with a Summit ale.....
