Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any AR "guru"s in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley?

I have an AR that is getting great groups of 5-6 MOA at 50 yards.  Would like someone who knows something about ARs to check headspace and maybe help me figure out if its my gun or my horrible shooting.

Bushy upper with heavy barrel.  DPMS bolt and trigger parts.

I would take it to a smith here, but everyone is so afraid of the ATF and not being an "authorized assault weapons smith" that they don't want to touch ARs.  (gosh I hate this state).

Anyways any help is greatly appreciated.

Sure, I could probably meet you at a range somewhere.  What part of the Bay Area are you in and where do you normally go to shoot?
