With SHOT going on this week I assume we'll be seeing some new stuff from a variety of sources.

Barnes is supposed to have a new 90gr "plinker" load coming to market and S&B will be coming out with a 115gr load as well. Colt has just announced a new 6920-ish rifle in 300BLK.

Personally I'd like to see a Ruger AR-556 in Blackout. A basic rifle that's easily customizable but with a low cost. Same goes for blasting ammo. I'm hoping Tula or a similar ammunition manufacturer will bring out a true budget brand. I know we're not likely to see 300BLK at $5.00 a box at the local Wal-Mart. But I'd be happy with something like $7.00 a box for blasting ammo.

Wishful thinking on all accounts?

Some S&B would be nice... I would just like to be able to get ahold of more bullets and different powder for reloading.

I want to see a spitzer 100-115 grain fmj for reloading and a semi jacketed or powder coated gas checked 230-240 grain bullet that isn't as expensive ask the BTHP match bullets.

I'm hoping the S&B is marketed as more of a budget training round. The S&B 6.8 ammo was a clone of Hornady VMAX ammo and was priced accordingly.

.300 IMO was still a fad till last year. Remington couldn't keep the boxes on the shelf, and during the panic most of what was out there were remans. Now that PNW and Fiocchi have decent prices, more stuff is coming out. LaRue has a .300 rifle that will be at shot, and hopefully more. I doubt we will see much less than $.50/round though, as 30 cal bullets are more expensive.

This is really where the innovation needs to be. That's why I'm hoping we'll see some less expensive import ammo come to market. Bullet companies like Barnes are apparently making strides towards cheaper bullets with this new 90gr that's composed of a zinc rather than a lead core.

I'd like to see Speer come out with a "bulkier" pack of their 125gr TNT bullets for the volume reloader. The 500 packs can be found for $99 or close to that. Maybe a bulk pack of 1,000 would help get the price down to $179 or something.

How about wolf 300 or red army 300 ammo

Then you would be talking my language

A LaRue 300 BLK rifle would be the bees knees!
