Any negatives to using an extruded receiver extension as opposed to a forged one?

Forged Tubes (Colt) are much stronger than extruded (Vltor) tubes....

The forging process allows the grain structure to align which makes it very strong. An extrusion's grain structure before heat treat treating is very bad. When properly heat treated its grain structure gets better and its strength increases, but not to the point of a forging. All milspec (Colt) buffer tubes must be forged.....
