Hey folks...

Just wanted to make an intro post and say hi to everyone.  Just bought my second ever (but currently only) AR today and had a great first outting with it at the range tonight.

It's a Bushmaster XM15-E2S 16" A3 M4 pre-ban.  The local gun shop just happened to get a batch of them in today before one of our regional gun show this weekend, so I swung by on my way home from work and bought one.  had
Anyway, love the new rifle and look forward to participating here as much as possible.  Have been lurking for a little while but figure now I'll be more active since I have something to talk about.  ;)

Thanks.

Okay, no jokes about the Coca Cola bears or the pumpkin centerpiece in the last photo.  I had to use the kitchen table to accomodate the rifle and my wife wouldn't let me replace those things with grenades,  knives and body armor just for the pics.  http://www.tennesspeed.net/members/tungsten/photos/M4gery_01.jpg

Congrats.  You need to take a piece of black cloth and wipe that thing down.

Yeah, I have a few silicone cloths here.  Will do that tonight.  Plan on stripping it and cleaning it thoroughly before putting more rounds down the pipe tomorrow.

Mother in law has a coyote problem on her farm.  She'll have less of a coyote problem come tomorrow night.

So, what's gonna be your second AR?  I use to think the guys that said you'll buy more than one were lame.  I bought my no ban in late July to be assembled after the sunset and just ordered another upper to complete my second AR.   Second will be here next week.

Yeah, your hooked.
Welcome to the club Tungsten!
Nice rifle, may it (and your next 10) serve you well.

Hah, yeah.  I bought my first.  Getting it converted to no ban status.  Found a decent A1 no ban upper on gunbroker.  Got that.  Then had to get another lower, collapsible stock, and bolt/carrier/charging handle.  Now I have two.  Have more planned too.  *shakes head*
