Just put a Larue rail on. The majority of the rail has a purplish tint. However, the rear most 1" of the rail is black with no purplish tint. Is this how they all are? Just curious.

mine is 2 tone at first more purple in the rear. doesn't bother me though.

A couple years ago I saw quite a bit of LaRue gear that was purple but most now seems to be black.

If I was into rails, the purple might be a match for my purple tint lower. PP quality control strikes again.
