A basic question for you. I have a BM XM15 E2S setup that works just fine. Occasionally I'd like to do some scope work so I am fighting (losing the battle) the temptation to buy a RRA 20" A4 upper. Any negative on chrome/moly barrel vs chrome lined. Is stainless steel worth it for general hole punching?
Moved this post from "Uppers" etc. for a more general exposure.
Thanks

I have a RRA M4 upper, and it shoots 5 shot 3" groups at 200 yards. I say go for it!

Chrome-moly is just fine for paper punching.
The difference between the three for the average shooter is maintenance.

If you're looking for a target rifle then stainless is a good idea.
