I noticed that I could push in the pivot pin with my thumb to move it out of the detent lock position, is this normal?

It doesn't look like it will vibrate/shake loose from firing but I thought I read somewhere that a punch should be used to push it out and if your thumb can push it out, it's too loose?

I can usually push the pins with my thumb, which is good, I don't like relying on tools. It should not come loose.

thanks!

FWIW I have an Ameetec Lower with RRA lower parts that I assembled, and a RRA A4 upper. It fits very snugly when the pins are in place - there's no rattle. I was about to order an Accu Wedge but it doesn't look like I'll need it.
