Got an email that they have 2,000 cases of Federal in the boxes (not loose pack). $219 delivered.
Well, now  they only have 1,997 cases left

I'm sure Eric appreciates all the free advertising, but those of us on his mailing list (which maybe alot of people here - you're not the only one) already knew this yesterday. Appreciate you keeping us up to date on the exact number of cases you believe he has left...

Well, we decided last time to post whether we bought any or not just to drive our post count up  ;)

I didn't buy any so I guess he still has 1,997 cases left.

And I agree, where is this supposed "shortage".

The only shortage I see is a shortage of ammo priced at what it's actually worth.....

The only shortage is in people loading the trucks.

You can still say there is a shortage.  Periods of "out of stock" of the [short] duration we have seen across the board....at least my definition of a shortage which is more of an acute lack of supply rather than a non-existent one.

Its seems that Ammoman is the only source that has a consistant supply

So I'd say there is definately a shortage.  Everyone else gets a load here and there and then are out.

Where the $%#@! do you guys get the money to buy up all this ammo? I had to execute a dangerous, flanking, behind enemy lines, covert op to use the wife's CC to get 1000 rds. last week! I have to have my intelligence assets intercept that damn CC statement! You guys really need to chill and leave some ammo for us paycheck to paycheck guys...OR..look deep within and buy me a 1000 rds...and I'll get the shipping! Any philantropists out there?

I'll bet it's gone by Tuesday.  How long do you think it will be until the next 2000 cases is delivered?  I'd guess mid-April.  The last XM193 ammo that Eric had was in December.  If you can sell your 2-month supply out in a few days, that's a shortage.

-Troy

If you can convince people that what you're selling is so scarce, they may not get any more of it, especially when the Zombies come--that's a shortage.

I'll bet half of this ammo is sold to people that already have more than 3K rounds on hand.

Hoarding is more of a problem than the supply...

Perhaps because shipping is included in ammoman's prices, and also perhaps because ammoman actually has it in stock.

At the moment Wholesale Hunter could advertise 50 cents per case but it wouldn't matter-they're out of stock

That is with shipping. And they haven't changed the price in the past when they got it iin stock.

Well, the pricing is purely their prerogative I buy buy plenty from wholesale hunter, but certainly don't mind paying a few more bucks per case from ammoman either. Eric offers excellent service and his orders always arrive with lightning speed. Well worth the cost in my book.
