I just hard that the price of ammo is going up by 20% a cross the board. A major ammo dealer I know just got the word, fuel costs and componets seem to be the problem, It sound like we have 30 days are so to stock up!

Considering that people are getting on the roofs of buildings and STEALING the copper components out of AIR conditioning units here in AZ because the price of copper is so freakin high,...
It might be a good time to buy what is available, Jethro!! The police just arrested a couple the other day here with $3500 worth of scrap copper that they had stole! Panic time is upon us, Bros! |

I'm still reloading using components I hoarded from mid 90's after the primer scare. Price has been stable on those for 10 years now since they're bought and paid for

Yeah they busted a couple here also for stealing wiring in new houses to sell the copper which the report says has gone up 400% in 2 years.

rich5000 is NOT exaggerating ! The costs of transportation and EVERY Material used to manufacture ammunition has gone way up. If any of you haven't heard what has been happening in the Commodity markets then you need to hear that NOT just Gold, Silver, and Platinium prices are goinging up. What is gunpowder made of folks? That's right Chemicals ALL of which have gone way up in price as well. Lots of reasons behind the price increases but the Bottom line is the 1990s prices for ammo are HISTORY just like Gasoline.

According to a dealer here (yes it is S. Fla
 ) Federal and Winchester are going to go up 8-10% every 60-90 days. Didnt realize Copper was getting scarce
