Local Army and Navy stores are usually the best

I take this back... this place has the best prices.
ruralking.com/rko/cart.cgi?PRODUCT=063550005&SPD=EIo7449512597TY&AISLE=3127
I purchased 16, 50 cal boxes for like 4.65 each shipped.  Not a bad price at all.

Hold the presses...  There may be a catch to that price! I got this in the email conformation...
"Rural King is not responsible for shipping estimate calculations.  In the event of an error, the shipping charge will be corrected and the bill will be adjusted with customer confirmation." Maybe it's just me, but I have a feeling the 4.65 boxes are going to go UP!

I usually try to dicker and deal on a bunch at shows. Shipping is a killer on them so I try to buy FTF and check out the seals at the same time.

Think global, shop local, or the shipping will kill you.

I'm in Florida, so this guy in Georgia has a good deal for me, even with the shipping:

3 ammo cans (1 .30, 1 .50, 1 SAW) for $9 +shipping

If you need many cans:

120 .50 cans @ $2.50 + shipping

or

80 SAW ammo cans @$3.50 + shipping

As a bonus, this guy is only an hour so east of the CMP South Store.  May see if I can work something out next time I can't control my urge to visit Anniston.

Honestly, if I could get away with it and they would serve as a good "brick", I would fashion a cabin out of ammo cans.

I just love them that much.

I need to see if I can go to the recycle center her on my base.  That is how I got most of mine but now I am over growing.  I have been leaving my ammo in the plastic but it looks nicer in ammo cans than blue plastic tubs.

There was a guy on the EE who had about 100 cans for $1 each but you had to buy them all and pick them up at his address, Pretty good deal if I was close buy.
