With my SA80s, I dropped in the Magpul followers. They needed a bit of fitting after running them up and down with a ruler to check for wear spots, but after that they have been flawless.
Thankfully a few minutes with the assistance of Captain Dremel, and all was good. |

all of mine have the "pink" magpul followers in them, very tricky to install due to the tolerances but work wonderfully afterwards.
i have never had any problems with the black followers they came with nor did i have problems with the green ones that were once in there. |

My "England sticker" Imperial Defense mags were purchased from CMMG, who supplied chrome-silicon springs. I have green followers in them. No problems.
