Did anyone else on the forum order a delta series lower from Allstar Tactical? https://www.allstartactical.com/catalog/components-parts/lower-parts/lower-receivers/delta-series-forged-lower-receivers   I am wondering how this new gun ban in NY will affect our orders with this company seeing as they are based out of Webster, NY.

It depends upon when the legislation takes affect. Also, a lower is just a lower, not a rifle. Worst case will just require registration by NY state residents. It will not matter for other states.

Well I am not a NY resident but I read something on CNN.com about a ban on internet sales in NY.   Just wondering how that will hit those of us out of state ordering from them.   Thanks for the info though!

I preordered one from them on Monday.

For what it's worth, I found this list: http://troopers.ny.gov/Firearms/NYS_SAFE_Act/

AllStar Tactical is not listed, but I don't know if they would be anyway.

My gut feeling is that it will be fine - I'm not in NY, so they aren't responsible for doing background checks or anything, all they're technically doing is shipping to a dealer in TX, and it doesn't seem like the new law prevents them from doing that.

This pertains to residents of NY only.  I live in NY unfortunately and from what I have been told if you have pre ordered a lower from them before Tuesday Jan 15 2013, you are ok.  They specifically had you pay for them when pre ordered rather than when shipped just for this reason.  You paid for it and own it, they just have to get it to you.  I ordered 3 stripped lowers 2 weeks ago.  Not sure yet if when you pick up your lower(s) at their store or receive them at your FFL if you will be forced to register them at that time.  This is what I have been told, from a credible source, but again not 100% sure.  For out of state sales, nothing should change, the new laws do not apply.  If anyone has any additional or different information, let me know.

I just got an email back from Allstar Tactical, I asked if there would be any issues or further delays, and he said no.
