I guess the topic says it all...

I've got a new 16" A2 Bushmaster and am lusting for an Aimpoint. But what is your experience with etiher a) mounting it atop the carry handle or b) in front of the carry handle, co-witnessed to the iron sights?

Either way I'm using an A.R.M.S. mount...

I'd go with an ARMS #39 and #22M68, without a doubt. Your sights would be cowitnessed and your Aimpoint would be easier to use out front.

Your best choice would be mounting it via a gooseneck mount forward of your carrying handle. Precision Reflex, ARMS, Aimpoint and BC Cam all make very good mount for this application. this all depends on what type of handguard you have. The standard CAR or the fat M4 handguard.

I'll third that - excellent set up for an A2.
