Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aimpoint ML2 Question???

I tried a search but I did not find an answer.

I just got an ML2.  When I look into it at kind of an anglw around 1 or 2 o'clock, I see a red glare from front lens.  Is this normal, or might my aimpoint be defective?  Will the M2 do that as well or is the ability to block that what makes it NV compatible?

It's normal.  The dot you see is a reflection of an LED that's place in one top corner of the sight.  When it's turned up bright and you're in the dark, you can sometimes see the blooming you describe.  You won't see it when looking through the sight normally.
