I found this item on eBay yesterday. The seller claims they have been tested by members of this forum, so what better place to ask, right?

How are these sights?

Haven't heard any discussion of them that I can recall.

I can't really say much about them.

I've seen a few threads about these. They quickly break down into pissing contest. On one side are real SWAT types who call them airsoft toys and say that you should spend the money to get the real thing. This is countered by someone saying his has held up during 500 rounds at the range.  So it's an argument between the people who know what they are talking about but haven't used one and  people who own one but don't know what they are talking about.

With luck this thread will be different.

Gee, I guess I fall into the category of and I quote

I post the above 500 round report, so I guess I fall into the latter category. hat
I know for a fact that if this product turns out to be a piece a shit, I would post just that. Its just tiring to hear all the guys who buy an AR, become Seals, Closet Commandos, SWAT, or general AR experts post veiled insults. If you can't post something that adds to the topics or have actual experience with a product: Keep your fingers off the friggin' keyboard!Luis Leon

It's like saying why buy a Corvette when the speed limit is 55.  Why not just buy a KIA?

Because we like to break the law.  h.gif

It appears that this sight falls into the same timely arguement of "you get what you pay for". Some people just refuse to believe you can buy something that works for so little when there is something out there that requires you to saw off your left arm to purchase.

I will be honest... I am not a soldier, yet. Even when I join, I won't be bringing my own rifle into battle. Im  not SWAT. My life doesn't depend on the sight. My AR is nothing more than a range toy. Would I actually spend $500+ on an optic sight? hell no! That is why I am looking at the cheaper alternatives. If I got bad reports about this sight, Id buy an NC Star 3-9 x 34mm scope. Those work quite well.

Luis, thank you for the range report. It helped me to make my decision... I am going to give this sight a try.

Thanks again.

some sights work better than others and usually the higher cost is because more work/quality/testing is put into the product.

Let's face it.  Who needs an ACOG or another top of the line optic?  Who needs a SOPMOD?  Who needs 4150 steel, a Pentagon / Surefire?

If you really think about it, probably only about 5% of the real operators who use it everyday to defend their lives with.

However, I want the best products that I can afford because I want the best and want to train on the best. Not only do I have nice toys / tools to play with, I'm ready to go if I ever needed to put it to use.

It's like saying why buy a Corvette when the speed limit is 55.  Why not just buy a KIA?  It will both get you there.

There are people who buy clones and have a great time with it.  More power to them.  One camp shouldn't bash one over the other.  It's your money, your toy / equipment.  Do as you please and don't give 2 squirts to what others think.

Because we CAN!

Its not a pissing match, I thought It was about helping fellow shooters, no matter what their level of income. Stay on topic with the actual product being asked about, otherwise go do your bragging someone else.

Luis Leon

I hadn't seen that thread before. That was actualy a civil discussion on the topic. I was referring to another one or two that degraded to a bitchfest on page one.

What I'd really like to see is someone who truely is an expert compare one to the real deal. Then spend some time beating the crap out of one to see if it can hold up.

Clones are SO LAME. Don't even think about it.

If you can't afford an AIMPOINT or Eotech or ACOG, then get an UltraDot for $125.
