Anyone tried the new 2moa version of the Aimpoint? I've only seen the 4moa version, and the lack of precision was one reason I went with Eotech. Thoughts from anyone, dealers included? Thanks.

I found the 4 MOA to be a good alternative for precision and quick shooting. I seen the 2 MOA, it is just too small for me to be of use on a M4. I put more on quick shooting on those type of gun/optic combo then precision to onger distance.

This is why I think the EOTech is superior to the Aimpoint in that respect, the big 65MOA is so fast in acquiring target while the fine 1 MOA is good for long diatance shots. Stick with your EOTech, you are in good hands.

Hoipe this helps.

I'll second the "stick with the EOTech" advice. It was my understanding that the 2 MOA dot is only on the 2X Aimpoints.
