Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Age of a Colt Sporter Match

How do I tell when  a Colt Sporter Match was made.  It doesn't seem to have a prefix, but the serial number is 0388xx, so I couldn't figure it out from the FAQ.  (Yeah, I know, I'm an idiot newbie!)

Sporter Match rifles were generally Green Label guns and thus pre-ban. But I've never heard of any without a prefix to the serial number. Are you sure there isn't a prefix? Can you post a pic, while blanking out the last 3 or 4 digits?

The Green Label guns were made from about 1990 until the ban in '94.
