I got an ACE skeleton style stock (made by a somewhat local manufacture) and noticed that the rear bolt which attachs it to the stock A2 tube doesn't have a hole through it. Is this going to be a problem?

Please clarify.

If you look at the stock A2 buffer tube bolt....it is hollow.

The new stock I got comes with a bolt which isn't hollow...problem?

No problem.

We [ARFCOM members] often speculate why the hole is in the USGI stock bolt. The prevailing opinion is that the hole was meant as a weep hole to allow water to drain out. So, as long as you do not intend to submerge your stock in a lake, it should not be a problem.
