I think they are quite possibly the most underrated company in the industry.

I am digging the new roll mark and think their product branded under SAA is an excellent product, I am going to get their stripped upper for my current build.

I like that new roll mark, it's simple and clean.

+1 on the mono receiver.

Their new scope mount while not high end - might be useful for a rifle or two.  Too bad I did not see a price for that hardware, nor a stocking retail outlet.

Curious, If it's not out yet how can you tell its not "high-end"? Judging on all of their past and present products I think its fair to say nothing they put out is cheap. I personally am not the biggest fan of it cause I love the QD options already available but I'm not going to short change em without going hands on.

I really liked their old logo, the new one, not

And been waiting a long time for a rifle length (or longer) upper that has never materialized.

I ordered two Aero Precision Complete Lowers (No Stocks) from Surplus Ammo & Arms - Should have them soon - was before the really awful news on a recent night... (cough cough) - Will advise on the impression these make. I'm new to the AR and building them but have been learning a lot and noticing all kinds of things with different parts.

I'm with you on a rifle length!!! I'll be swapping out the middy for one. But I do like the new logo. simple and clean. Looks like I'll be swapping out the old lower soon.

The mids didn't sell well enough to justify pressing forward on a rifle length.

There's more demand for rifle length or longer than mid, probably mid and carbine put together.

Vltor and LMT sell the most of the rifle length monos. Larue isn't available in anything but rifle length.

The ONLY reason I went with a pieced together upper on my last build was because Aero doesn't offer a rifle length.

Most people who want a mono upper don't intend to use a front sight base, but the two models they do have are standard FSB carbine barrel lengths. Bad idea.

Their new stripped upper doesn't have the American flag on it anymore.

ETA: It says it does in the description, but the pic shows just their new logo.

The new logo looks like ass. Smaller, more simple logos are the way to go.

Edit:

Come to think of it, the now "old" logo is reminiscent of Rockwell International .

I have 3 rules of thumb for not being considered "high end"
1) not quick detach
2) only in 1" format
3) It don't say LaRue on the side - ok, that's not an reason, but I said not high end don't mean the same as cheap in my book.  There are a few good valued mounts from LaRue - but those I would not consider as cheap.   Also I can say the same for weaver.

Now a Lotus car I would consider high end - and great performer.  However; poor value for the job I want it to perform.  I am looking for more of a GMC truck versus the Lotus Elise in scope mounts.

I have two lowers. One drops PMAGs, the other doesn't. This might not be an issue for some, but for someone who has largely standardized on PMAGs, it's a deal killer for me.

Oh shit forgot about Fla.  Throw Knights into that ring as well then! Also Windham Weaponry, from MAine––-man guess that leaves me pretty much buying Larue from here on out

My first build ever was using an Aero lower. I like the new logo, but not enough to justify replacing what I have.  My second build i am working on I am using a PSA lower.  IMHO, the PSA rollmark is the best in the industry.  Reminds me of an army logo.  The ball and cannons are very cool.  Of course, if the lower doesn't perform or fit, nothing really matters, and both are built well.  Glad to see Aero gaining popularity.

Include RRA, LMT, Armalite, and Les Baer. Doesn't leave much.

Add DSArms and Stag Arms.  And no more sending stuff to ADCO.

Beyond that, you can look at OEMs.  Example... POF is in Arizona, but use Rock Creek barrel blanks which come from Wisconsin.  Tons of people use CMT/Stag OEM parts.

I'm digging the new logo!
Representing the 2-5-3.

The old logo looked dated, like I should be on a peechee folder.
In addition to my colt, I have an aero p. upper and a lower, roll marked with the Surplus Ammo logo.

I like the new logo ,looks clean. I will be pissed if the American flag was removed from the upper. I get a lot of complements from people when they see the flag on the upper. Can't really beat the price to,well pre election. Well see what happens in the next few months.

So what is the relationship between Aero and Armalite? That looks just like the monolithic that Armalite markets and if I remember right their 308 lowers are armalite pattern.

We got MFGs here.  Accurate Armory and Doublestar.  Why buy from a blue state when you can get from a red state

ETA: I'd like a monolithic someday but I can't figure out what to install.
