Is there a trick in adjusting the rear Troy BUIS sight?

I tried to move the wheel on the side and couldn't do it. It's solid!

Does your sight have a slot on the windage knob?  If so use a quarter to turn it.  If there is no slot then find something to depress the dentent.  I used a small punch but I think the tip of a bullet works.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot later.

How do I adjust the front sight too?

The front sight can be adjusted with a bullet tip.

You could also just get the tool, but the sights were designed to be adjusted without it.

My Troy is a bit older and most 5.56 bullet tips are too fat.  I use a Bic pen to hold in the detent or just try to turn it REALLY hard and it will move.  Some variants had longer pins which MUST be depressed to move the rear dial.
