Added a Vortex flash surpressor meant for Remington .308's, an M4 recoil pad, a Hogue pistol grip and drilled and mounted the sling swivel to mount my Harris bipod. Now I just need to find time to really shoot it and break it in.

Sorry for the dark pics, will get better ones sometime

Cool...but you might want to drop the pic size down to 640x480 for the bandwidth challenged hehe.

I've been thinking of building one of those uppers...unfortunately, I'm having to bag it for right now...just too poor to shell out the $$ right now.

How does it shoot? I heard someone on another board complain about the recoil.

What kind of accuracy are you getting out of your Ap4?

Mine shoots like a teenager having his first sexual experience! Whoever was complaining about DPMS 308 recoil is a major league wussy. I shoot on average 200-400 rounds per range session with mine, and never had so much as a tender shoulder afterwards....I can't say that about my HK91 or my M70 (both .308s, and both leave bruises after as few as 50 rds)

I'd say that my DPMS 308 and my M4 have comparable felt recoil, although the DPMS is much heavier and the recoil--while mild for a 30 cal-- seems to last longer. (like a steady push instead of the quick snap the M4 has) My wife is somewhat recoil sensitive, and she has no problem shooting my rifle.
