I've had several AK's over a couple years and am thinking it's time to get an AR. I know there are divided opinions over DI versus piston rifles, but that's not my question for debate right now ;)

Question: what is the difference between the AA base and EVO rifles, other than the Ultra Lite has the thinner barrel? Is it just the Samson rail? Bud's has mid and carbine blem rifles on sale again. Wish they were 14.5 barrels but the price is right.

Found answer: EVO has the Samson EVO rail and upgraded stock and grip. Internals are the same.
