A 4x ACOG or an ACOG reflex?

You cant have an ACOG mounted to your flat top and still use iron, unless you defeat the whole purpose and use a detachable carry handle.

If you're worried about the front sight blocking you view, don't.  If you just look at the reticle you won't even notice it.

That is what I was curious about, thank you phobia.

Just don't put a night sight on your front sight post, at night an eerie green will show up on the bottom, more noticeable than the front sight on the bottom of the sight pic during the day.

Sorry.  I thought you were one of those dip shits that come along every now and then and ask if they can "cowittness" their irons while using a 4x scope

Really?  I put the front post from a used trijicon set in my upper just to see what it would look like, and i could't see a bit of it.  It was weird.  You could move your head over to the side and see it just fine.  Even when I pulled my head back all the way to try and see it, I could not.  Never did understand it.
