Here are a few pics that I took in the back seat of my truck.  I'll try and get better ones later but this is the first I have put together.  I bought the kit from J&T and the lower from eagle firearms in CO.  I took everything apart to spray with Moly Resin and then actually reassembled everything and did not have any extra parts that were not supposed to be there.  Thanks for the headsup on where to buy extra ball bearings for the sights.  I have extras now.  Like I said, sorry for the crappy pics and messy truck but I'll get better ones soon.  Thanks for the help along the way.  This is a standard 20" A2 HBAR but feels much lighter than my RRNM that I got recently.  Guess there is a pretty big difference in barrel weight on the two.  Thanks again.  GShttp://forums.sixgunner.com/albumtn.aspx/mid_147-5C5136A243A343EFB4A015FCD4DF3A0A.JPG

I like the contrast between the black and green. Especially the bolt catch, selector, etc....

Good job!!

Very nice!  Rub some CLP on the stock will blacken it up a bit.  Range report?

Shok

I haven't made up my mind on the CLP and stock yet.  If I do this, will it rub off on my face everytime it gets in the heat or does it stay pretty well in the fiberglass?  I'm hoping to get it to the range and actually put it on paper this evening.  I shot it a few times for function testing but hopefully can see what it will do this afternoon.  You can't tell from the pics but the barrel is also green and the flash suppressor and Front sight base are black.  I have a 1911 on the same color scheme so thought it would be neat to have a set.  Thanks again.  GS

Maybe a family photo in the near future?

Job well done, I like the look and how it turned out.

This is the best I could do on the family shot today.  Too bright outside and when I took the ones inside, they were too large to upload.  Sorry, a photographer I am not.

They look great together!! You can definately see the barrel color better in that photo. It looks pretty sharp with the black FH.

I am very new to the AR and only have one KISS AR. But I can definately see an AR in the future with that color scheme.

Nice work!!

Did you mask the front site, or remove it?

After reading the title, I was hoping to see pics of your cousin!!!

Just kidding, very sorry...

Who cued you in on where to get the detent balls for the sights?  I'm missing a few from a parts kit that I need to replace!  Can they be gotten at the hardware store?  What size are they, what are they called?

Nice looking shooter.  Glad to see you had the balls (hah, pun intended!) to paint your rifle, it looks very nice.
