What are these suckers worth...a local "junque" dealer has one for $25 It seems to be in OK shape. What is it worth, and should I get it?

What name on floor plate?

If its Colt, price can go to $45.00.

But don't ever buy one.

By the way I do, however, need the name and number of the owner of the mag............lol

Floorplate reads something like:

Armalite AR15
cal 223
Colts Firearms Mfg
Hartford Connecticut.

Is this a good thing?

If it's a genuine AR15 waffle mag, it's worth quite a bit. I've seen them sell for $200. If it's an AR10 waffle mag, around $70+ depending on condition.

Something like this? Note these are not waffle mags that I have, they are "transition" mags. Same baseplate though.

Gus, if they are not identical, they are VERY close. The mag seems to be in good shape. Any adivice or info?
