Folks,  I bought some of this ammo from one of the on-line vendors back in 2008.  This is Turkish manufactured and is supposed to meet NATO specs and duplicate the performance of M855.  When I first received my shipment I tried out 60rds on a brand new 20" HBAR A2 clone with 1/9 twist.  I only fired 39 of the 60 rounds.  I ended up with three casings getting stuck in the chamber and at least 7 of the rounds had blown the primers out!  I say at least 7 because I couldn't find two of the casings.  I put that ammo away intending to try it out again sometime down the road.  That time was last week and I fired 81 rounds.  31 through the before-mentioned A2 clone and 50 through an IDF carbine clone I built.  This time there were no stuck cases, but 11 of the 81 rounds exhibited primers that were either completely or partially blown out!  The real pisser is that this stuff is pretty dog-gone accurate and consistently so!  Anyway, I just wanted to post this as a way of saying don't trust your life to this ammo.

I did a review with 16" carbine and it worked fine, but I cannot shoot more then 3 rounds in a row in my SPR without it jamming.

I tried more to chronograph it and it again ran fine in my 16" carbine. Maybe this stuff only works with carbine gas systems.

I've shot it through two mid-length carbines and it shot as good as M885. Smelled kind of funky but it was just fine. According to the vendor I got it from (ammunitiontogo.com) it's early 2011 stuff so maybe I got lucky. Sorry it didn't work for you.

strange,  I've never had a problem.  I got nothing to offer OP

I just shot some a few hours ago in my middy length BCM. No problems and surprisingly accurate.

What barrel manufacturer?

Sounds like tight chambers.

This, scrub and clean the chamber real good and try again. If that don't cut it, try a reamer.

Folks, the barrel manufacturer is E.R. Shaw, and both chambers are 5.56 NATO.  I've fired enough other brands through both rifles to definitely say it's not the rifles.  Since UT-ARShooter bought a batch in 2011 and hasn't had a problem perhaps I just got a bad batch.  I hate that since the stuff is so dog-gone accurate!  I haven't had a problem with failures to fire just the few failures to extract early on, and the weird primer problem.

I liked the stuff so much I went to buy some more, but no one seems to have it in stock. I was hoping to get the same batch too.

I bought a case several months ago. Fired a couple mags to test it out with 0 mishaps at all. I retrieved all of my brass and none of it appeared the worse for wear or had blown primers.
It sounds like you have a nasty batch. Have you considered contacting ATI about your continuing problems with this case of ammo? If so, or if you do, I'd be interested to know how well they stand behind their product.

While I am absolutely not saying it isn't an ammo issue (since I have no way to know for sure), there have been a lot of cases lately with barrels marked 5.56 not having a true 5.56 chamber. Do you have a chamber reamer to check? Blown primers in 5.56 ammo can definitely point to an out-of-spec chamber.

Best of luck figuring this out. I haven't shot any of the stuff so I have no idea what it's like.

I have had great results with ATI in my 14.5 WOA barrel, although it is certainly not match ammo.    More accurate than PMC X-tac.  I went through 300 rnds 3 weeks ago with our a fte or ftf.

I tried this stuff in two different rifles.  It all went bang but accuracy was very poor.   Brown Bear is better IMOH.
