Has anybody done or how hard would it be to do an AR chambered in 9mm Browning Long. Theres a bunch of cheap ammo and it looks like it would be a great sub-sonic round for suppressed shooting.

Chambering would not be hard per se, but the reamer may not be readily available. The fact that it is semi-rimmed would make it stack less-than-perfect in the 9mm Para mags, but it should work.  Not aware of anyone having built one, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been done...

9 Largo or 9 x 23 I understand.  But 9 Browning Long is 0.046" longer than 9 x 19 (Para or Luger) with a semi-rim... I suppose you could just run a 9 x 19 reamer a pinch too deep... or a 38 Super reamer too shallow...

Pacific Tool has the reamer on their site but may take a few weeks to get. I was just wondering if it would cause any problems with the semi-rim. Also what kinda magazine to use.

The Ammo is cheap, not as cheap as the Tok though, which i have a ton of. But if you could get one working it would be really nice suppressed. Suppressed full auto even better

Should be able to use standard 9mm mags - best thing is to get some ammo, stuff the mag, see if the semi-rim causes issues.  Open up a standard 9mm bolt to accept the rim (if needed), that is all it should take.  Use an existing 9mm barrel and touch up the chamber. Can't say I noticed the ammo for sale, but hadn't been looking either... considered obsolete even in Europe according to COTW...

It was on sale last month too and a NICE price. Hopefully they'll put it up for sale again. I'll order a shitload along with more of that beautiful beautiful cheap tok
