yes, but be sure to have a dealer perminently attach a 5.5" Flash Hider, before you attach it to a rifle.

A 10.5 and 5.5 FH will not give you what you need to be legal.. If you dont own an AR, and you have the upper, you are fine...

If you own an AR-type lower receiver that isn't either a legal pistol or SBR, then possessing a short-barreled AR upper is a federal felony. It could be made legal by either rebarreling the upper, or by permanently attaching an extended muzzle device that would bring the overall barrel length over 16". I recommend rebarreling. A good Bushmaster chrome-lined barrel will run about $200.

Or you could SBR it. I am assuming noone has said this because hes in CA?? I wouldn't be suprised if your cannot have a SBR there. And to be legal you would have to get one of the FAB-10 lowers that only holds 10.
